名残り雪 "Last Snow" 平原綾香。オペラのアリアを聞く様だ。

日に日に美しい淑女に成長して行く

幼馴染みの少女との別れ。

その変貌に驚き、眩しく見つめながら、

取残されて行く様な焦燥感と

大人になることへの不安感を憶えたあの頃。

そんな、少年の日が甦る。

雪は、汚れた世間を覆い隠すだけでは無く

純粋だった頃の心を取戻してくれる様だ。

歌われている名残り雪が降る東京駅での別れが
はっきりと私には見える。

名残り雪は、作詞作曲した伊勢正三氏をはじめ

多くの歌手が歌っているが、

私は、歌手「平原綾香」が歌う「名残り雪」が好きだ。

ひらひらと舞い散る小雪の様なピアノの高音、

重厚なストリングスがオーバーラップして

駅を去って行く汽車を想わせる様な構成が素晴らしい。

オペラの美しいアリアを聞いている様だ。

英語に直訳すると感情が伝わらない箇所は
私なりに意訳した。
例えば「去年よりずっと　綺麗になった」は、
もう、私が知っていた少女では無く
君は美しいレディだ、と私は悟った。など
